AMARILLO, Texas – The Angelo State University women's golf team completed play at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon, finishing 10th at La Paloma Country Club.
The Rambelles carded their best round of the tournament in the final round, firing a 20-over 304 to finish the three-round event at 70-over 922.
INDIVIDUAL PLAY
Ainsley Burns led the Rambelles, finishing tied for 22nd at 12-over 225. Burns closed the tournament with a 2-over 73 in the final round.
Bao Nghi "Maia" Than finished tied for 28th at 15-over 228 after carding an 81 (+10) in the third round.
Kelsey Kline placed tied for 38th at 21-over 234. Kline closed with a 4-over 75.
Brinley Patterson finished tied for 43rd at 24-over 237 after shooting a 6-over 77 in the final round.
Competing as an individual,
Emma Cook also finished tied for 43rd at 24-over 237. Cook recorded the best final-round score among the Rambelles, firing a 3-over 74.
Caitlin Vanderkruk rounded out the Angelo State lineup, finishing tied for 50th at 29-over 242 after a final-round 79 (+8).
The Rambelles return to action Oct. 11-12 at the Battle of the Belt in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
