THACKERVILLE, Okla. – The Angelo State University women's golf team completed competition at the WinStar Invitational on Tuesday, carding a 24-over in the final round at WinStar Scissortail Golf Course to finish the tournament at 65-over.
Two of the Rambelles' three individuals led the way for Angelo State, as
Ainsley Burns and
Addison Barber each finished tied for 17th at 9-over through three rounds.
Caitlin Vanderkruk led the Rambelles' lineup throughout the tournament and finished tied for 30th at 13-over after carding a 9-over in the final round.
Bao Nghi Than recorded the best round of the day for the Rambelles, shooting a 2-over to finish the tournament at 14-over.
Kelsey Kline and
Kara Knight closed the tournament with rounds of 7-over and 6-over, respectively. Kline finished at 18-over, while Knight finished at 20-over.
Brinley Patterson closed out her tournament with a 6-over to finish at 21-over.
Emma Cook and
Ava Key each improved from their second-round scores, with both carding an 11-over in the final round. Cook finished the tournament at 32-over, while Key finished at 46-over.
The Belles will return to action Monday, Sept. 14, when they travel to the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona, for the RJGA Shootout, hosted by Western New Mexico.
