“Ridge has a chance to be a force in the Lone Star Conference and one of the better players in Division II. He is very strong and athletic, and has a great nose for the ball on the glass. Ridge has very good hands and his speed and strength enable him to finish over the top of defenders. He will be fun to watch.”

Prior to Angelo State
Spent the 2009-10 season at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga… Played in 27 games and started 19 of those contests… Averaged 9.4 points a game and had a season-high 19 points twice against Longwood (11/28/09) and Georgia Southern (2/05/10)… Averaged 6.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 17.4 minutes per game… Spent the 2008-09 season at North Dakota State College of Science and earned first team NJCAA All-American honors… Averaged 17.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game for the Wildcats… Named to the all-region and all-conference first teams, as well as being named Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Year… Led the Wildcats to a 31-4 record and a Region XIII Championship with an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament… Started his collegiate career at Kilgore Junior College in Texas where he averaged 16.9 points and 9.5 rebounds per game… Earned honorable mention All-America and first team all-region honors.

High School
Competed at George Washington High School… Named team MVP as a junior and senior receiving first team all-state honors as a senior leading GWHS to the state tournament… Ranked No. 124 at power forward by Scouts, Inc., (ESPN.com) with a grade of 75 coming out of high school… Also played football all four years of high school.
