“Joey is probably one of our hardest workers and has made as much if not more improvement than anybody on our team this year. He’s got a great outside shot and a very high basketball IQ so he should really help us this year.”

Appeared in 21 games of the bench as a sophomore…Averaged 1.8 points per game while converting 90 percent of his free throws…Scored in double figures in two games including a season-high 13 points versus Arlington Baptist on Feb. 6…Was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line versus Texas A&M International on Nov. 21.
