Played two seasons for the Longhorns... Started 13 games at short stop and recorded four hits.
At San Angelo Central
Hit .429 and stole 40 bases as a senior and was named the All-West Texas MVP and to the District 2-5A first team... He was a team captain during his final year as a Bobcat and also added nine doubles, six triples and drove in 24 runs... Hit .388 with three home runs as a junior for CHS... He also played football and basketball and was a National Honors Society member in high school.
