"Brent is a great athlete who will redshirt this season. He can run and has made progress on his defense and
hitting ability in the fall. We expect that if he continues to work hard that he can be a great player for us some day."

• Played for head coach Jason Schniers
• Lettered four years pitching and playing outfield for the Hawks
• Helped lead team to the regional finals in his senior season
• Named to the All-West Texas team by the San Angelo Standard-Times
• Earned third-team all-state honors
• Also lettered in football and track at WHS
