PRIOR TO ANGELO STATE
Steven Naemark transfers to Angelo State after pitching at Cochise College the past two seasons and helping lead his team to the JUCO World Series both seasons. Naemark is a 6-foot-3, left-handed pitcher from Tucson, Arizona who went 19-12 at Cochise College and was named the Region I MVP and the Most Outstanding Pitcher at the JUCO World Series his freshman season. As a sophomore, Naemark recorded 91 strikeouts, walked only 20 and had a 2.99 ERA in 126 1/3 innings of work.

"He is probably one of the best left-handers out there and did a great job last season helping his team to the World Series," said ASU head coach Kevin Brooks of Naemark. "I think he has a great work ethic and has been a winner everywhere that he has been. I think he'll come in and be a big-time contributor for us next season."
