Biography

AT HANNA HS
Played for Head Coach Todd Barckholtz. His senior season, he averaged 12 points per game, 10 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals. Was named the District 32-6A Defensive MVP as well as being a 3 year letterman. Scored career high 38 points against Portel HS and helped lead team to district championship and the second round of the playoffs. 

PERSONAL
Parents are Ed and Rita Messbarger. His grandfather Edward Messbarger was a long time basketball coach at Angelo State. His other grandfather was a two-time high school All-American during the 1950s and was recruited by some of the nations most elite programs including Kentucky's Adolph Rupp. He ended up playing at University of Tennessee-Martin.
