King started a total of 23 out of 32 games for his junior season with the Rams averaging 11.0 points and a .789 from the free throw line… He led the roster both in 3 point FG attempts with a total of 218 and 3 point FG made with a total of 79… In the NCAA South Central Regional Semifinal against Fort Lewis, King would go 7 for 9 behind the 3 point line earning him an average of .788 in the Rams victory… In defense he racked up a total of 115 defensive rebounds earning the second spot amongst for the roster in defensive rebounding… He managed to earn a game high of 8 rebounds on two different occasions the first in a home game against Midwestern State and the second in the NCAA South Central Regional Final against Tarleton State… In the first meeting of the season between the Rams and A&M -Kingsville King would hit a game winning 3 point shot as time expired to secure the Rams victory 73-70… By the end of the 2015-2016 season he earned a total of 340 points ranking third amongst the Rams.
