Pamela Soriano enters her second season as the graduate assistant for the Belle Volleyball program. In her first season at ASU, Soriano helped lead the Belles to a 24-5 overall record, winning the LSC Regular Season Championship and making an appearance at the NCAA South Central Regional.Â
Soriano, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, had a prolific playing career on the court, representing the Dominican Republic in 12 international competitions. She was the captain of the Dominican Republic Youth National Team and Junior National Team, helping lead her home country to the championship of the Norcera U-20 Championship in Nicaragua. At the FIVB U-23 World Championships in Turkey, she led the Dominican Republic to a third-place finish in the tournament.Â
Soriano competed collegiately at Florida A&M University, where she served as a team captain for two seasons. She was named the MEAC Rookie of the Year in 2014 and was the MEAC Preseason Player of the Year the following season.Â
Soriano graduated from Florida A&M in 2018 with a degree in Public Relations. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Communications.Â
