Emeline Crutcher was named the Lone Star Conference’s Female Runner of the Week after she ran at the top of the Angelo State lineup for the second time in three races while leading the Rambelles to the team title at the ACU Naimadu Preconference Meet last weekend.

Crutcher, a sophomore from Wellman, Texas, finished fourth overall with a 23:08.07 on the 6K course in Abilene to help ASU capture their first win of the 2010 season. She was one of three Rambelles in the top 10 as the team produced its best result of the season on the same course they will compete on for the Lone Star Conference Championship Nov. 6.
