Scouting Cameron
Cameron ranks last in the Lone Star Conference in team pitching with a 5.84 earned run average, so the Aggies will need to have a strong pitching performance from Carrie Dilks and/or Cheyenne Brown. Dilks leads the team in ERA at 3.95, while Brown has logged the most innings pitched with 137.1 on the season. The duo will have their work cut out for them as they match up against the league's top-hitting team. The Rambelles are hitting .341 as a team, nearly 20 points higher than Texas Woman's (.332).

Offensively, the Aggies will be without its top offensive player Leslie Martini who's been out since March 27 due to injury. Before her injury, Martini was hitting .371 with 25 RBIs and eight home runs. Drew Wright has also swung the bat well, hitting .363 with a team-best 33 RBIs and 15 doubles. Misty Dooley (.352), Tara Martini (.324), Amanda Karth (.311) and Meca Chambers (.303) are all hitting above .300 for CU.

Series History
Angelo State is 16-1 all-time against Cameron and 4-0 versus the Aggies in the LSC Softball Championship. The two programs met earlier this season for a three-game series in San Angelo March 2-3 with the Rambelles taking all three games. ASU earned a pair of run-rule victories and outscored Cameron 23-3. Angelo State is hitting .434 as a team against Cameron this season and has 17 hits for extra bases compared to the Aggies two. Kacie Easley, Lauren Smith and DeeshanaLynn Tafiti all had multiple home runs in the set.

Cameron's Micha Foutch hit .625 during the weekend at the ASU Softball Complex, while Misty Dooley and Amanda Karth also hit above .400. Foutch led the team with six total bases. In the circle, Cheyenne Brown threw 6.2 innings striking out four without allowing a walk, but surrendered 17 hits and nine runs (all earned). Carrie Dilks tossed 4.2 innings but allowed one run on nine hits. Also seeing action was Kelsy Hebert, who threw 3.2 innings walking four and giving up seven hits and three runs.

Hawaiian Punch
Elsamartina Apo and DeeshanaLynn Tafiti have combined for 101 runs batted in, 72 runs scored, 17 doubles and 21 home runs on the season. Apo - who hails from Ewa Beach, Hawaii - leads the team in batting average (.453), on-base percentage (.580) and walks (38). Tafiti, a native of Kalaheo, Hawaii, paces the team in home runs (14), RBIs (60) and slugging percentage (.731).

Uh, Winning
Rambelle starting pitchers Claire Molina and Mary Kate McKay know how to win. Molina (23-4) leads the league in victories at 23, while McKay (19-4) sits in second with 19. The lefties each have 30 appearances on the season with 24 starts and 14 complete games to their names.

Good Eye
For a team that is slugging .544 as a team, the Rambelles are patient at the plate. ASU has more walks than strikeouts this season, as the team has drawn 181 free passes compared to just 179 strikeouts. On February 26, the Belles took a season-high 11 walks against Central Missouri en route to an 18-2 victory. Elsamartina Apo leads the team with 38, while Morgan Spearman (24) and DeeshanaLynn Tafiti (22) each have more than 20.
