Rambelles Host Cameron for Senior Weekend at Mayer Field

SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State softball team will honor its two seniors Ambra Hill and Lanie Robinson and play its final home series of the year with a four-game LSC matchup with Cameron on Friday, April 22 starting at 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at Mayer Field.

The Rambelles improved to 32-19 overall with a doubleheader sweep of St. Edward's. ASU is sitting fifth in the LSC standings with a 14-14 conference record and No. 8 in the most recent NCAA Division II South Central Regional rankings. At Mayer Field, ASU is 17-5 this season.

"If we continue to play like we have lately that we have a shot," Angelo State head softball coach Travis Scott said. "We have to show up ready to play because every game is important in the LSC and you have to show-up ready to play. We are looking forward to celebrating the careers of Lanie Robinson and Ambra Hill. Both have been four year starters for us and hopefully end their careers at home on a great note."
