SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams travel to Silver City, New Mexico to run in the Lone Star Conference Cross Country meet hosted by Western New Mexico.

Course Info:
The Women's 6k will consist of three loops around the 2,000 meter course, the men's 8k will be four loops.
 There is about 4 U-turns throughout the course as well as two gradual hills per lap.
The course is very spectator friendly and spectators will be able to see the course from many different locations throughout the race.
Weather is expected to be around the low 50's at the start of the race Spectator parking will be available at the Golf Course Clubhouse at 9 Golf Course Road, Silver City NM 88061.
Any overflow parking will be directed to Scott Park which is across the way.
Awards will follow at the conclusion of the men's race and will be held at the Golf Condo.
 
Last Time Out:
The men's and women's teams competed at their home meet, The Angelo State Blue and Gold on Tuesday, October 15. On the women's side, Bridgett Cadenhead finished first for the Belles, setting a pace for the other Belles to follow at 25:05.31. Raeana Mayo was the second finisher for the Belles with a time of 26:54.85. Brielle Collett was the third finisher for ASU with a time of 31:50.14. Rebeca Beaird and Karlea Duhon round out the finishers for the Belles with times of 36:29.57 and 36:49.57, respectively.
On the men's side, Matthew Brooks finished first for the Rams with a time of 26:50.07. Preston Brooks finished second for ASU with a time of 25:15.04. Seth Blanco and Jacob Krupa finished third and fourth for the Rams with times of 28:59.47 and 29:45.14, respectively. Ethan Watson rounds up the Rams, finishing the race with a time of 30:15.28.

Upon completion, several Rams and Belles could compete at the South Central Regional Championship Meet hosted in Canyon, Texas on Saturday, November 9.
