FORT WORTH, Texas – The Angelo State cross country teams competed at the Old Glory Gallop on Saturday morning at AP Ranch, an event hosted by DBU.
RAMS
The men opened the day with the 8K race, finishing 26th out of 40 teams. The Rams were joined in the field by Lone Star Conference opponents DBU, UT-Tyler, Cameron, UT-Dallas, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Western New Mexico, Texas A&M International and Eastern New Mexico.
Sophomore
Alex Hauck led the Rams with a personal-best time of 26:31.68, placing 150th overall in a field of 403 runners.

RAMBELLES
In the women's 5K, the Rambelles placed 28th out of 41 teams, finishing ahead of conference opponent UT Permian Basin.
Half of the Rambelles posted personal bests, led by
Ashley Stratton, who clocked a time of 19:37.47 to finish 106th out of 340 runners.
