LEVELLAND, Texas – The Angelo State University cross country team competed at the South Plains College Open Invitational on Saturday morning. The Belles finished fifth, while the men finished third.
In Case You Missed It:
- On the women's side, Bridgett Cadenhead finished first for the Belles in 16th with a time of 21:15.40.
- Raeana Mayo crossed the line second for ASU, pacing the course at a time of 22:51.20.
- Abigail Zamzow was the third finisher with a time of 24:51.30.
- Brielle Collett and Rebeca Beaird round out the ASU finishers with times of 27:28.20 and 27:59.80, respectively.
- On the men's side, Matthew Jones was the first finisher for the Rams coming in 10th for his first top-10 finish with a time of 27:43.50.
- Jacob Krupa and Preston Brooks finished second and third for the Rams with times of 29:12.00 and 29:31.60, respectively.
- Ethan Watson crossed the finish line in a time of 29:47.20.
- Seth Blanco and James Killingsworth round out the ASU finishers, completing the course in 30:37.50 and 30:40.50, respectively.
