COMMERCE, Texas – The No. 2 seeded Angelo State University Belles volleyball team faced off against the No. 6 seeded Arkansas Fort-Smith Lady Lions, winning in five sets to advance to the Lone Star Conference Finals.

- ASU and Arkansas Fort-Smith started set three off to a slow start as both teams fought point for point to tie at 4-4.
- A service ace from Parker and an attack error from UAFS, cut the Lady Lions lead to just two points at 11-9.
- Arkansas Fort-Smith found their second wind however, extending their lead over the Belles to 17-10.
- Kills from Chinn and Coulter cut the Lions lead to six at 18-12.
- Just like the Lady Lions, ASU found their second wind as Gilbreath went on a six serve run to cut Fort-Smiths lead to just two points, 23-21.
- Two kills from UAFS however ended set three in favor of the Lions, 25-21.
- ASU started set four off with a vengeance as they jumped quickly to a 5-0 lead early on over the Lady Lions.
- A block from Sophia Berg and Chloe Patton brought Angelo State to an 8-2 lead over Fort-Smith.
- A kill from Chinn extended ASU's lead to 15-12.
- A kill from Gilbreath and a service ace form Morgan Preston extended the Belles lead to 22-17.
- A kill from Berg, assisted by Parker, ends set four for the Belles, 30-28.
- ASU quickly jumped to a 3-0 lead at the start of set five over UAFS.
- A kill form Gilbreath extended Angelo States lead to 8-3 over the Lady Lions.
- A kill from Chinn and an attack error from Fort-Smith to bring the Blue and Golds lead to 13-9.
- A block from Berg ends set five, and the match, against Lady Lions, 15-10.

- Sundara Chinn led the Belles offense against the Lions, registering 22 kills, while Kailyn Gilbreath followed closely behind with 16 kills.
- Meghan Parker and Lindsey Ledyard combined registered 59 assists for the Belles, Parker having 39 and Ledyard having 20. Parker also registered 14 digs, while Ledyard registered 21.
- Makenna Hanssen and Haley Coulter combined to lead the Belles defense against the Lions mighty offense, each registering 25 digs each.
