SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University Belle volleyball team travels to Austin, Texas and San Antonio, Texas to take on St. Edwards Hilltoppers and the St. Mary's Rattlers. The Belles face the Hilltoppers on Friday, November 8, and the Rattlers on Saturday, November 9.

Series Meetup:

• Since 2012, the Belles and the Hilltoppers have played four times, with Angelo State leading the series 4-0. This will be the first time that the Belles and Hilltoppers have played each other in conference play. The last time these two teams played each other was on September 3, 2016, where ASU swept St. Edwards, 3-0.

 

• Since 2010, ASU and St. Mary's have played each other five times, with the Belles leading the overall series, 5-0. This will be the first time that these two teams have played in the same conference together. The last time the Belles played the Rattlers was on August 24, 2018, where the Belles played a hard fought victory against St. Mary's, winning 3-2.

• Haley Coulter registered 21 kills and 15 digs total for the Belles over the weekend against both Midwestern State and Texas Woman's.
• Makenzie Griffin and Kailyn Gilbreath registered 13 kills and 20 kills, respectively.
• Lindsey Ledyard and Meghan Parker combined registered 60 assists against MSU and TWU.
• Makenna Hanssen registered 16 digs total for the weekend against the Mustangs and Pioneers.

The Belles will return for the last two home games of the regular season as they face Tarleton State on Friday, November 15, for YMCA Night. ASU will face Dallas Baptist for Senior Day on Saturday, November 16. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. and Noon, respectively.
