AUSTIN, Texas – The Angelo State University Belle Volleyball team played a hard fought match against a well-rounded St. Edwards team, sweeping the Hilltoppers in three sets. The Belles are now 22-2 overall, and 14-1 in conference.

- ASU would start off to a slow start in set one against St. Edwards as the Hilltoppers would gain an early lead over the Belles, 8-4.
- With Kailyn Gilbreath at the serving line, the Blue and Gold would tie the score up at 9-9.
- Kills from Sundara Chinn and attack errors from SEU would give the Belles their first lead of the night, 14-13.
- With Morgan Preston to serve, and several kills from Gilbreath, ASU would jump to a 19-16 lead over St. Edwards.
- A kill from Chinn, and Haley Coulters phenomenal serving capabilities, would push Angelo State to take set one, 25-20. Coulter served for five straight points.

- ASU would maintain their momentum inito set two, taking an early lead over St. Edwards, 6-2.
- Preston extended ASU's lead over the Hilltoppers to 10-6 on a service ace.
- Gilbreaths serving capabilities, and a kill from Chinn, pushed the Belles lead even further to 13-7.
- Meghan Parkers serving abilities were also put onto display as she would go on a four serve run for Angelo State, extending their lead to 18-10.
- A kill from Gilbreath, assisted by Lindsey Ledyard, would take set two over St. Edwards, 25-21.

- A kill from Baleigh Allen would tie the score up for ASU at 7-7.
- Angelo State and St. Edwards would continue their struggle for points, neither side being able to extend their lead over the other.
- A kill from Gilbreath gave ASU the momentum it needed to take the lead away from the Hilltoppers, 18-15.
- Preston would serve for three straight points to help bring the Belles to a 19-16 lead.
- An attack error from St. Edwards gave ASU the point it needed to take set three and the match, 25-23.
