SAN ANTONIO, Texas – the Angelo State University Belle volleyball team swept the St. Mary's Rattlers, 3-0. The Belles improve to 23-2 overall, and 15-1 in conference.

- ASU and St. Mary's would start set one off to a slow start with neither team being able to gain the advantage over the other.
- Kills from Kailyn Gilbreath pushed ASU ahead of the Rattlers and gave them an 11-7 lead over St. Mary's.
- Morgan Preston showed off her serving capabilities by serving five straight points, including a service ace.
- A kill from Baleigh Allen extended the Belles lead to 18-11.
- Meghan Parkers serving abilities showed as she brought the Blue and Gold to a 22-13 lead, serving for three straight points.

- Two service aces from Lindsey Ledyard extended the Belles lead to 7-2 over the Rattlers.
- Ledyard would gain momentum for the Belles at the serving line, serving for seven straight points, bringing Angelo State to an 11-2 lead over St. Mary's.
- A block from Allen and Coulter extended the Blue and Golds lead to 15-5.
- With Coulter to serve for the Belles, she went on a four serve run to extend the Belles lead even further to 19-5.
- Sundara Chinns kill ended set two for the Belles, 25-12.

- Angelo State and St. Mary's started set three off at a slow pace as neither team gained the advantage they needed to gain the lead over the other.
- Chloe Robinson served ASU its first lead of the set, bringing the Belles to a 10-8 lead over the Rattlers.
- St. Mary's would make a comeback and continue to fight tooth and nail for points with the Belles as neither team could gain enough of a lead to gain any momentum.
- With Parkers serving capabilities, and a kill from Grace White, Angelo State would take set three, and the match, 25-21.

- Kailyn Gilbreath led the Belles offense against the Rattlers, registering 14 kills, with Sundara Chinn following behind with nine.
- Meghan Parker and Lindsey Ledyard would together register 29 assists and 20 digs for Angelo State.
- Makenna Hanssen and Meghan Parker led the Belles defense against the Rattlers offense, registering 25 digs between them. Hanssen and Parker were also able to hold the Rattlers to a .158 hitting percentage.

The Belles return home to the Stephens Arena to play Tarleton State and Dallas Baptist for the final two home games of the regular season. The Belles play Tarleton State on Friday, November 15 for YMCA Night at 7 p.m., and Dallas Baptist on Saturday, November 16 for Senior Day at Noon.
