SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State volleyball team could not convert their senior day and their final game of the regular season into a win on Saturday afternoon, falling to UT Tyler in three sets inside for the Junell Center for the second time this season.
The loss sees the Belles drop to 11-17 overall on the season and 7-9 in conference play.
The Belles' three senior day honorees –
Sydney Mundkowsky,
Grace White, and Katy Motz – paced the Belles on the day. Mundkowsky led the team with six kills, while White led the team with four blocks to go along with four kills.
Motz assisted a team-high 12 times and recorded 12 digs for her first double-double of the season.
Caleigh Enax led the team with 13 digs, and
Elsa Lamphere recorded 11 digs.
The Belles will be the eighth seed in next week's LSC Tournament, where they will take on the top seed and hosts West Texas A&M.
