SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams will compete in their one home meet of the season as the Rams and Belles host the 50
th Annual David Noble Relays beginning on Thursday, Mar. 31.
The Belles have dominated the meet for over a decade, winning every meet since 2010 while the Rams have turned in seven first-place finishes in that time, coming in second on four other occasions. The field in this year's meet features five ranked teams in Division II, four ranked teams in Division III as well as the NJCCA Indoor National Champions in South Plains College.
LAST TIME OUT:
Last week, ASU competing at the Texas Relays, hitting four provisional marks with
Cason Brown and
Antonija Radic both moving to second overall in Division II in their event. Brown tossed the discus 54.73m (179'-7") while Radic hit a distance of 12.64m (41'-5.75") in the triple jump. Also moving into the top three in the DII performance list was
Viktor Ertelt who threw the javelin 65.88m (216'-2") for the third farthest toss this season.
