Lubbock, Texas – Angelo State volleyball senior setter
Laney Dale crossed the 1000-assist threshold on Friday night inside the Rip Griffin Center against Lubbock Christian as the Rambelles rebounded from dropping the first set to defeat the Lady Chaps in four sets on their home court on Friday evening.
A senior Management major from Brock, Dale became the sixth player under head coach
Chuck Waddington to record 1,000 assists for the Blue and Gold when she assisted a

The first set saw the Belles hit .170 for the opening set, compared to the Lady Chaps' .275 as the hosts took a tightly-contested first set, 25-23.
However, for the rest of the match, the Belles hit .252 as a team while they held LCU to a .101 hitting percentage.
Dale recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 31 kills on the evening to go along with 11 digs. The Belles out-dug the Lady Chaps 66-60 while also out-assisting them 62-48.
Hannah Kinnison led all players with 18 kills and hit .260 in the process, while teammate
Elsa Lamphere followed with a 16-kill performance of her own while hitting .344.
Evelyn Torres joined Dale with a double-double with 13 kills and ten digs.
