RICHARDSON, Texas – After tossing a complete-game shutout in Angelo State's win over Lubbock Christian,
Kade Bragg was named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Bragg, a communications major from Ennis, Texas, tossed a one-hit, complete-game shutout with eight strikeouts to earn his second straight weekly honor. Bragg allowed only a first-inning single and one walk with his first five outs were strikeouts swinging. The left-hander improved to 8-0 on the season and lowered his NCAA Division II best ERA to 0.37.
The Rams are off this weekend before returning to action against Texas A&M International on Thursday, April 6.
