Rambelles Return Home to Open LSC Play Versus WNMU

SAN ANGELO - The Angelo State volleyball team opens Lone Star Conference play this week, doing so first on Wednesday when they welcome Western New Mexico inside the Junell Center - Stephens Arena. That match will start at 6 p.m.

The Rambelles wrapped up their non-conference schedule with 10-2 overall record after winning two of their three matches this past weekend at the LSC Crossover in Kingsville. The Belles bounced back from a Thursday night loss in five sets against the Javelinas to sweep St. Mary's on Friday before closing their weekend with a five-set win over UAFS.

Against the Lady Lions, the Belles were down 7-3 in the fifth set before they scored 12 of the match's final 14 points to secure the win.

Nationally, the Belles ranked in the top five in assists and kills, coming in at fourth in both categories.

Hannah Kinnison is the only player in the LSC to rank in the top five in hitting percentage (fourth - .361) and kills (fourth - 3.84 kills per set). Already at 165 kills on the season, Kinnison is on pace to greatly exceed her 2022 tally of 214 kills.
