SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams return to action this weekend as they compete at the Southern Nazarene Invitational in Norman, Okla., on Saturday.

- Maricia Spence leads all of Division II in the pentathlon after setting a new Lone Star Conference record at the Boo Rogers Combined Events with a score of 4,112 points.
- Spence also ranks third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.58) and fourth in the long jump (6.01m | 19'-8.75").
- Abby Zamzow currently holds two top-10 marks in Division II, ranking fifth in the pentathlon (3,792) and sixth in the long jump (5.98m | 19'-7.5") while Anna Riccomagno is sixth in the pentathlon at 3,749 points.
- Kyle Lumpkins has recorded the eighth-best result in the heptathlon this season with 5,176 points.
- Saturday will be the first full meet of the year for both teams as ASU travels 42 athletes overall, 22 on the men's side and 20 on the women's side.

Field events begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday with the men's and women's weight throw while the running events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's 5,000-meter run.
