SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State men's basketball team held on late for a tight 88-85 victory over Eastern New Mexico on Saturday afternoon inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena.
The Greyhounds were otherworldly from the field in the game's final two minutes and forty seconds, going on a 23-8 run to cut the Rams' 18-point lead to three; clutch free throws by Rams' point guards

Kendrick Delahoussaye helped secure the 11
th-ranked Rams their second win in as many games in 2024.
Despite the size matchup in favor of the visitors, the Rams out-rebounded the Greyhounds 38-33 and outscored the Greyhounds in the paint 44-28 while forcing ENMU into 19 turnovers.
Sixteen of the Rams' 38 rebounds came on the offensive glass, a new season-high for the Rams.
The Rams had three players record four or more assists as they assisted 20 times on their 34 made field goals.
Trey Farrer scored a season-high 21 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field. Only playing 22 minutes due to foul trouble, the forward also grabbed six rebounds, five on the offensive glass, and recorded a pair of blocks and steals.
Kevon Godwin eclipsed the 20-point mark for the sixth time this season with 20 points; he made six field goals and made four of his eight attempts from three-point range. Godwin also tied Farrer and
Carvell Teasett with six rebounds to lead the Rams and dished out seven assists.
DJ Basey recorded a new career-high with 17 points on eight made field goals.
Keyshawn Embery-Simpson had nine points and five assists, while Teasett had seven points and six rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench.
The Rams improve to 12-1 on the season, and 7-0 in LSC play as they bump up their winning streak to 11 games. The Rams improve to 19-0 on their home floor under head coach

The Rams are on the road next weekend to take on No. 4 West Texas A&M and Lubbock Christian.
