GOLDEN, COLO - The Angelo State women's basketball team defeated Colorado School of Mines 69-59 inside of the Lockridge Arena Friday afternoon.

The Rambelles improve to 7-3 overall with the win, while the Ordiggers fall to 3-9 on the season.

- Majik Esquivel scored the team's first eight points after knocking down a jumper and two three-pointers.
- A three-pointer by Madeline Stephens at the 5:24 marker in the first quarter would give the Rambelles their first lead of the contest, 11-10.
- Stpehens would hit a three at the buzzer of the first quarter, to give the Rambelles a 21-18 lead heading into the second quarter of action.
- Addy Burns would knock down two clutch free throws at the 5:47 marker in the second to give the Rambelles a 26-25 lead.
- A Landry Morrow three gave the Rambelles a 36-34 lead heading into halftime.
- Esquivel knocked down a jumper at the 6:55 marker to give the Rambelles a lead, 42-41.
- A layup from Keniah Williams gave the Rambelles a 52-46 lead heading into the final quarter of action.
- A three from Esquivel with 7:43 remaining in the contest gave the Rambelles their largest lead of the contest, 58-46.
