LAS VEGAS – The Angelo State men's basketball team dropped their final game of the 2024 calendar year to No. 10 Colorado School of Mines, 71-54, on Friday night inside the South Point Arena as a part of the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic.
The Orediggers got off to a hot start, making six of their first ten shots, four of which came from three-point range. The Rams' offense caught fire late as they converted nine of their final field goal attempts.
Sterling Gaston-Chapman was the lone Ram in double figures with 11 points. He grabbed three rebounds and had four assists.
Kaden Evans had nine points on three made three-pointers, while
Damonze Woods had eight points and five rebounds.
Kendrick Delahoussaye stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, six assists, and five rebounds.
Carvell Teasett added seven points, and
Denim Dawson and
Shemar Smith had five points each.
The Rams close out 2024 with a 7-4 overall record and a 3-2 record in LSC play. They are back in action on January 3
rd as they travel to Silver City, New Mexico, to take on Western New Mexico.
