SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams will travel to Lubbock this weekend to compete in Texas Tech's Masked Rider Open beginning on Friday, Mar. 22.

- Odonkor was named the Lone Star Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at Abilene Christian's Wes Kittley Invitational while Averie Griffith was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Week, ranking fifth in Division II in the 100-meter hurdles at 14.20.
- Abby Zamzow was selected as the LSC Field Athlete of the Year for the indoor season, she will compete in four events this weekend.
Friday will feature three throwing events beginning at noon with the javelin followed by the hammer and shot put. Field events begin on Saturday at 12:30 while the running events will start at 8 a.m.
