SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State volleyball team was in a festive Halloween mood on Friday evening inside the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, scaring Eastern New Mexico away with a 25-20, 25-13, 25-21 victory.
As a team, the Belles hit .371, their best mark in a conference match this season, and their best percentage in a single match since the season's opening day.
Julia Hopkins turned in a thriller of a match, tying her career-high with 18 kills on a .483 attack percentage. The 18 kills are the most for a Belle in a three-set match since Hannah Kinnison had 19 kills at Midwestern State on September 30
th, 2023.
Demi Carter recorded double-digit kills for the third-straight match with ten kills on a .400 attack percentage.
Madi Parrish had nine kills, not committing an error in 22 kills for a .409 attack percentage. Parrish also added eight digs on the defensive side.
Cate Boldrick converted four swings into three kills, while
Hannah Spencer led the Belles with five blocks.
Gabi Ashcraft assisted 28 times, her season-high in a three-set match. The sophomore setter also had eight digs and a pair of aces.

Ireland Ferguson led the Belles with 11 digs.
The Belles are 16-7 overall and 10-2 in LSC play. They are back in action tomorrow afternoon against No. 14 West Texas A&M, who are coming off a sweep of UT Permian Basin this evening in Odessa.
