Alpine, Texas – The Angelo State volleyball team defeated Sul Ross State in straight sets on Tuesday evening inside the Gallego Center, dispatching the Lobos by a 25-12, 25-13, 25-15 scoreline.
The Belles' defense confounded the Lobos' attack as the hosts hit -.070 for the match, committing 22 errors against only 16 kills.
Madi Parrish led all players with seven kills and three aces, while also recording four digs.
Raelee Allen did not commit an error in 15 swings, burying six kills for a .400 attack percentage.
Julia Hopkins had five kills, and
Alli Kirkpatrick produced four kills on six swings.

Cate Boldrick had three blocks and
Madison Scrivner assisted nine times.
The Belles improve to 10-6 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. The Belles return home for a three-match home stand, starting this weekend as they host their Dig Pink night against UT Dallas on Friday evening.
