Wichita Falls, Texas – The Angelo State volleyball team extended their winning streak to five matches this evening inside the D.L. Ligon Coliseum, defeating Midwestern State in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.
The Belles hit .272 as a team and recorded 54 kills, their most in a three-set match this season.
Madi Parrish led all players with 16 kills and only committed one error, hitting .455 in the match. Parrish recorded a double-double, adding 12 digs, and had a pair of blocks and a pair of service aces.
Raelee Allen joined Parrish in double-digit kills with ten, her third match this season with ten or more kills, and the first time she's done it in a three-set match.
Julia Hopkins and
Demi Carter each had nine kills, while
Cate Boldrick added six and
Hannah Spencer chipped in four. Boldrick led the Belles with three blocks.
Gabi Ashcraft assisted 24 times and had eight digs, and
Madison Scrivner recorded 17 helpers.

Ireland Ferguson dug 20 Mustang attacks, her personal best in a three-set match and her sixth match this season with 20 or more digs.
Krizia Perez added ten digs and a pair of aces off the bench.
The Belles improve to 18-7 overall and 12-2 in conference play. They are back in action tomorrow afternoon in Lubbock, facing league-leading Lubbock Christian.
