ARKADELPHIA, Ark - The Angelo State women's tennis team improved their record to 6-0 after defeating Ouachita Baptist 5-2 Friday afternoon at the Ward Indoor Tennis Center.
 
The Freshman double pairing of Benedetta Raggiotti and Margaux Rene would defeat Alice Kubler and Ali May 6-0. Jessica Li and Mary June-Quinn would fall 6-2 to Marlee Bledsoe and Macie Heide. 
 
The doubles point would come down to the No. 3 pairing of Avery Durham and Eva Schwartz they would get the best of Sadbaroy Kholdarova and Na Zamora Caprirolo beating them 6-2 to claim the doubles point for the Rambelles.
 
Raggiotti would get back in the win column as she would defeat Ali May 6-0, 6-4 to give the Rambelles a 2-0 advantage.
 
Margaux Rene would play her first match from line two this season she would go on to defeat Na Zamora Caprirolo 6-0, 6-4 to give the Rambelles a 3-0 advantage and improve her collegiate record to 6-0 in singles play. 
 
Jessica Li would clinch the match for the Rambelles as she would get the best of her opponent defeating Alice Kubler 6-1, 7-5.
 
The Tigers would claim their first point of the contest as at line Sadbaroy Kholdarova would defeat Eva Schwartz 7-5, 6-1 to make the score 4-1 in favor of the Belles.
 
Avery Durham would continue her run of form from line six as she defeated Marlee Bledsoe 6-0, 6-1 to give the Rambelles a 5-1 lead with one match remaining.
Anastasia Myachina defeated Ivet Stancheva in a three-set thriller 6-0,1-6, 12-10 for OBU to claim the final point of the contest making the final score 5-2.
