ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Angelo State women's tennis team continued their strong form as they defeated Arkansas Tech 4-0 on Saturday morning at the Ward Indoor Tennis Center.
With the victory, the Rambelles improve to 7-0 on the season.
The No. 3 ranked doubles pairing of
Avery Durham and
Eva Schwartz started the day off strong as they defeated Elis Gergel / Melanie Griffiths 6-0. The freshman doubles pairing of
Benedetta Raggiotti and
Margaux Rene clinched the doubles point for the Rambelles after defeating Natalya Montoya and Nabilah Dunn 6-1 to give the Rambelles a 1-0 advantage.
Margaux Rene continued her hot start to her collegiate career as she defeated Monica Balau 6-4, 6-3 to give the Rambelles a 2-0 advantage.
Eva Schwartz would get back to her winning ways as she defeated Natalya Montoya 6-3, 6-1 to give the Rambelles a 3-0 advantage.
Ivet Stancheva clinched the match for the Rambelles as she defeated Maria Krite 6-4, 6-1 to give the Rambelles the 4-0 victory.
