Erin Plunkett singled to lead off the third inning before scoring on an
Averie Gunther double with two outs, pushing the Rambelles' lead to three.
Sacrifice flies by De Baca in the fourth and
Ashton McMillan in the fifth pushed the scoreline to 5-0, which the Rambelles would double up on in the sixth inning.
De Baca would triple before
Abby Brand would single in the inning's first run. Walks by Plunkett and
Tatiana Trotter would load the bases for Gunther, who the pitch would hit to score the next run.

The Rambelles would tie the game in the third inning on a De La Cruz solo home run, her first of the season.
De Baca's double and Brand's hit by a pitch in the fifth inning put runners on base for Plunkett, who singled down the left-field line to give the Rambelles the lead. The Rambelles would tack on a run later in the inning when Gunther drew a two-out, full-count walk with the bases loaded to make it 3-1.
The Pioneers scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, batting around their lineup to take a 5-3 lead.
Laylonna Applin hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh to half the deficit, but the Rambelles could not find the tying run.
