CANYON, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams concluded the final outdoor meet on the regular season and the ninth-ranked Rams and 14
th-ranked Rambelles competed at the WT Last Chance meet on Sunday.
The Rambelles won four events on the day as
Esma Pajt took first overall in the women's hammer with a throw of 56.80m (186-4) which moved her to 19
th overall in Division II.
Fedra Florentin took first overall in the shot put with a provisional toss of 14.43m (47-4.25) while
Kylyie Paden won the pole vault at 3.79m (12-5.25).
Maricia Spence turned in the fastest time in the 100m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 14.13.
Also earning provisional marks in the women's discus was
Kamryn Williams and
Tiamara Hill-Johnson who finished third and fourth respectively with marks of 45.93m (150-8) and 45.35m (148-9).
On the men's side,
Pacer Hill finished second overall in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.76m (15-7.25) while
Kobi Valchar took third in the discus at 46.36m (152-1)
ASU will travel to Pueblo, Colo., for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships which will take place May 22-24,
