RICHARDSON, Texas – With just over two weeks remaining until the season opener, the Lone Star Conference released its 2025 Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll on Thursday morning. Angelo State was picked to finish 11th, matching last season's final standing, with 138 points.
West Texas A&M was unanimously selected to top the conference, earning 27 of the 28 possible first-place votes and 419 total points. Rounding out the top five are DBU, Western New Mexico, St. Edward's and Texas A&M International.
Angelo State is set to open the season on Friday, Sept. 12, as the Rams and Rambelles head to Lubbock for the Texas Tech Invite.
