Canyon, Texas – The Angelo State volleyball team fell to No. 10 West Texas A&M in straight sets on Saturday afternoon inside The Box, dropping its second match of the LSC Challenge.
The Belles' offense struggled, only hitting .073 for the match.
Madi Parrish led the Belles with nine kills, followed by
Raelee Allen's eight. Allen hit .294 as she set a new career-best in kills.
Cate Boldrick and
Julia Hopkins had five kills each.
Mary Johnson led the Belles with three blocks at the net.
Madison Scrivner assisted 23 times, and libero
Ireland Ferguson paced the team with eight digs.
The Belles are 6-5 on the season; they open conference play next weekend against St. Mary's and St. Edward's inside the Junell Center/Stephens Arena.
