The Rambelles and Rams set seven provisional marks in their first weekend of competition in Pittsburg, Kansas. The 4x400m relay team of Jahleel Armstrong, William Opare,
Taylor Briggs, and
Rami Balti ran the third-fastest time ever in the event with a 3:07.92. Opare, Armstrong, and Bautista Diamante each left the opening meet with two provisional marks.

- The Corky Classic begins on Friday at 3 p.m. with the weight throw, while running events start at 3:30 p.m. with the women's 60m hurdles. Saturday's schedule begins at 11 a.m. with the shot put and the triple jump, while the running events begin at 11:30 a.m. with the 200m dash.
