Richardson, Texas – The Angelo State Track and Field teams collected 11 awards as the Lone Star Conference released the 2026 Indoor Track & Field All-Conference lists, which were highlighted by freshman
William Opare being named the Outstanding Track Athlete of the Year.
Opare, the sprinter from Accra, Ghana, was the men's high-point scorer, finishing with 21.25 points after winning the 200m and 400m dashes at the LSC Indoor Championships two weeks ago and serving as a member of the 4x400m relay team.
Both the Rambelles and No. 8 Rams had five student-athletes named to All-LSC teams, with
Kamryn Williams also appearing on the All-LSC First Team as well as the LSC All-Academic Team.
