SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State track and field teams close out the indoor season this weekend when they compete in the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships in Virginia Beach.

William Opare and
Rami Balti kick off ASU's time at the indoor national championships by running in the first round of the men's 400m dash at 3:20 p.m.
The lone field athlete representing ASU this weekend,
Kamryn Williams, competes in the weight throw finals at 4:05 p.m. on Friday.
Opare and
Lamont Reed run in the first round of the 200m dash on Friday at 4:40 p.m.
The men's 400m final is scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m., and the 200m final is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.
The men's 4x400 relay team of
Jahleel Armstrong, Opare,
Francis Patanpatan, and
Bautista Diamante is scheduled to compete in the final at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Rambelles' 4x400m relay team, consisting of
Shackelia Green,
Kylie Frush,
Keagan Galmor, and
Lainey Jernigan, competes in the final event of the weekend, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
