The Rambelles and Rams notched ten provisionals last weekend at the Wes Kittley Invitational, hosted by Abilene Christian.
Esma Pajt set a provisional mark in the hammer throw while
Kaylee Price improved on her mark in the 400m hurdles.
Francis Patanpatan, the LSC Runner of the Week, finished second overall in the 200m dash while also claiming wins in the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay.
QUICK NOTES
- William Opare continues to rake in the hardware. The freshman from Accra, Ghana, was named the LSC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, the USTFCCCA South Central Regional Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, and the USTFCCCA National Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.
- Thursday's schedule begins at 2 p.m. with the heptathlon, followed by the decathlon starting at 3 p.m.
- Friday sees the finale of the multis, with competition beginning at 1 p.m.
- Triple jump and shot put are the only field events to compete on Friday, doing so at 5 p.m. Steeplechase is the lone track event, which will run at 7 p.m.
- The action on Saturday begins with the running prelims at 12:30 p.m. At the same time, hammer, javelin, and long jump will also be kicking off the field events for the day.
