th Annual David Noble Relays, sophomore runner
Taylor Briggs has been named the Lone Star Conference's Track Athlete of the Week, the LSC announced this afternoon.
Briggs, a native of McKinney, had a productive day on the track Saturday.
In the 400-meter hurdles, the Finance major won the event with a time of 53.04, the 12
th-best mark in the country.
Briggs also took part in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, which finished with times of 39.88 and 3:08.69, respectively.
The 4x100 time is third in the country, while the 4x400 time is second.
This is Briggs' first weekly honor of his collegiate career and the second for the Rams this season.
Briggs competes this weekend at the Texas Relays in the 400m hurdles and as a part of the 4x400m relay.
