SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State golf team will play in its final two tournaments of the regular season over the next week in Arizona, competing in the Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona, hosted by Western New Mexico tomorrow and Saturday, before playing in the Desert Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M in Tucson on Monday and Tuesday.

THE COURSES
The Rambelles will play the Palm Valley Classic on the Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Arizona.
Last season, three Rambelles –
Caitlin Vanderkruk,
Mia Clarke, and
Kara Knight – played this course, with Vanderkruk finishing 23
rd overall, shooting a 149 (+5) as the Rambelles finished seventh out of 22 teams.
The Desert Invitational in Tucson will be played on the Ventana Canyon course. Last season, the Rambelles finished 10th out of 19 teams in the tournament, with
Mia Clarke ASU's highest finisher at 12th.
LAST TIME OUT
The Rambelles finished tied for eighth in a stacked field at the Patriot Invitational, hosted by DBU in Carmel, California.
The Rambelles' three-round score of 925 from the tournament is the tenth-best in program history.
Beth Norton finished 15
th overall, leading the Blue and Gold, besting ten top-100-ranked golfers.
REGIONAL RANKINGS
The Rambelles were ranked 13
th in the West Regional rankings, announced last Friday. The top 18 teams from each region qualify for postseason play, scheduled for May 4-6 in Pueblo, Colorado.
