Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State softball team is ranked third in the South Central region, the NCAA announced this afternoon with the release of its regional rankings.
No. 3 Colorado Christian and No. 6 West Texas A&M occupy the top two spots, followed by the Rambelles, No. 15 Oklahoma Christian, and No. 20 UT Tyler.
Texas A&M-Kingsville, CSU Pueblo, and St. Mary's take up the final three spots, with Lubbock Christian and Texas Woman's rounding out the top ten.
The Rambelles enter the final weekend of the regular season with a 42-9 overall record and a 31-5 record in LSC play. They close the regular season with doubleheaders against No. 6 West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico.
The next set of rankings will be released next Wednesday, with the NCAA selection show slated to take place on Monday, May 11
th at 9 a.m. central time on NCAA.com.
