Richardson, Texas - The Angelo State softball team will be the third seed in this week's Lone Star Conference tournament, the conference announced this afternoon following the conclusion of the 2026 regular season. 

The Rambelles, who finish the regular season with a 43-12 overall record and a 32-8 record in LSC play, will open action on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Canyon as they face sixth-seeded Lubbock Christian. 

The winner of ASU/LCU will play the winner of UT Tyler and St. Mary's in the semifinals, while the championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.
