SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State women's indoor track & field team was ranked No. 7 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Preseason top 25 rankings announced on Tuesday.

Jordan Gray from a squad that placed eighth last year at Winston-Salem, N.C.
Lincoln, Mo. Is No. 1 in the preseason ranking with defending national champion Adams State ranked at No. 2. Grand Valley State and Ashland checked in at No. 3 and No. 4 while Johnson C. Smith sits at No. 5. Minnesota Duluth is one spot ahead of ASU at No. 6.
ASU is one of two teams from the LSC in the top 25 as West Texas A&M is No. 12. The Rambelles will open the indoor track & field season on Friday, Jan. 16 at the Texas Tech Invitational.Â
