Series History
The Rams hold a 46-32 edge over the Buffs in the all-time series. The two teams met last season in Canyon, splitting the series 2-2. West Texas A&M dominated game one, taking a 12-1 victory over the Rams but ASU battled back in games 2 and 3 with a 5-0 shutout and a 16-1 victory. The Buffs shut out the Rams in the series finale to even the series to 2-2 with a 4-0 win. The Blue and Gold are on a one game losing streak to WT but are 20-14 in the series.

The Rams claimed its first ever series sweep of Lubbock Christian in Lubbock last weekend, sweeping the Chaparrals 4-0. Josh Elvir had a monstrous weekend, recording four home runs, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored and he went 7-of-14 from the plate, posting a .500 batting average. Jordan Williams assisted on the offense going 10-of-16 from the plate and scored five runs. He notched a .625 batting average.
 
On the mound, Carson Childers was strong out of the bull pen. He had a no-hitter through 3.0 innings of work with five strike outs and only allowed two walks.
 
Scouting West Texas A&M
The No. 14 Buffs enter the weekend 12-2 overall and in conference action. Keone Givens and Darius Carter lead the Buffaloes offense with 17 RBI. Givens is batting a .415 average and has scored 18 runs. He is 22-of-53 from the plate and has tacked on five doubles, two triples, and one home run. Carter owns a .314 batting average and is 16-of-51 from the plate. He has scored eight runs for the Buffs and has added four doubles. Izaiah Madrid assists the offense with .439 batting average and has recorded eight RBI. He has scored 15 runs for the Buffs and has tallied three doubles and one home run. He owns a .549 on base percentage.
 
On the mound for WT, Zach Dixon leads the starters with a 1.42 ERA and is a 3-0 when on the hill. In 25.1 innings pitched, he has struck out 29 batters and walked nine. He has allowed 14 hits with four runs scored. He holds the opponent to a .157 batting average.
