Angelo State Track & Field Travels to Abilene for Oliver Jackson Twilight Meet

SAN ANGELO, Texas - The No. 4 Rams and No. 10 Rambelles travel to Abilene, Texas to compete in the Oliver Jackson Twilight hosted by the Abilene Christian Wildcats at Elmer Gray Stadium on Wednesday, April 21. Angelo State will also have two athletes competing in the Joe Gillispie Invitational meet hosted by Tarleton State.
 
In the Joe Gillespie Invitational:
Johanna Stegmaier will compete in the heptathlon for Angelo State, while Marius Laib will compete in the decathlon.
 
Angelo State will have 18 Rambelles competing in the Oliver Jackson Twilight, while the Rams will have 39 athletes competing.
 
For the Rambelles:
Crystal Collett will be competing for ASU in the triple jump. Collett is currently tied for 11th place in the conference with a jump of 35'-6.5", or 10.83m.

Karlea Duhon will be competing in three events for ASU, the 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, and the long jump. Duhon is currently ranked second in the conference in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.52, fifth in the conference in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.26, and sixth in the long jump with a distance jumped of 18'-4.25", or 5.59m.

Summer Knight and Cameron Poole will be competing in the pole vault for the Rambelles, as Knight is ranked fifth in the conference with a height vaulted of 10'-6", or 3.20m, while Poole is ranked 14th with a height vaulted of 9'-4.25", or 2.85m.

Raeana Mayo will compete for ASU in the hammer throw and javelin throw, as Mayo is ranked fifth in the conference in the hammer throw with a distance thrown of 168'-8", or 51.40m, and fifth in the conference in the javelin with a throw of 126'-10", or 38.67m.

Zykia McDaniel will compete in the 400m dash for the Rambelles, where is currently ranked third in the conference with a time of 57.00.

Talena Murray will compete in the javelin throw alongside teammate Mayo for Angelo State, as Murray is currently ranked second in the conference and eighth in Division II with a throw of 151'-11", or 46.30m.

Daisy Osakue will compete in the discus throw and the shot put for the Blue and Gold. Osakue is currently leading the conference and the nation in Division II in the discus with a throw of 200'-9", or 61.19m.

Anna Pickett joins Murray and Mayo in the javelin throw, where she is ranked 11th in the conference with a throw of 113'-9", or 34.68m.

Hannah and Sarah Porter will both compete for Angelo State in the 100m and 200 dash, as Hannah Porter is currently ranked sixth in the conference and 18th in Division II with a time of 11.89 in the 100m, and is also ranked sixth in the conference with a time of 24.90. Sarah Porter is ranked 12th in the 200m with a time of 25.16.

Antonija Radic will compete for Angelo State in three events, the long jump, high jump and javelin. Radic is currently ranked tied for eighth in the high jump with a height jumped of 5'-3", or 1.60m, third in the long jump with a distance jumped of 19'-1.5", or 5.83m, and ninth in the javelin with a distance thrown of 116'-8", or 35.57m.

Sara Ramos will compete for the Blue and Gold in the shot put and hammer throw, where she is currently ranked second in the conference in the hammer throw with a thrown distance of 185', or 56.38m in the Kingsville Cactus Cup meet where she broke the Angelo State record of 184'-4" by eight inches.

Genevie Rivera will compete alongside teammate McDaniel in the 400m dash as she is currently ranked fourth in the conference with a time of 57.17.

Mia Van Oudsthoorn will compete alongside teammate Ramos in the shot put and discus throw, as Van Oudsthoorn is currently ranked second in the conference in the shot put with a distance thrown of 44'-5.25", or 13.54m, and is ranked sixth the discus with a throw of 152'-2", or 46.38m.

Shiean Walters joins McDaniel and Rivera in the 400m dash where is currently leading the conference with a time of 56.47.

Chloe Zamzow will compete for Angelo State in three events, the 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, and the triple jump. Zamzow is currently ranked 11th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.27, eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:07.26, and fifth in the triple jump with a distance jumped of 38'-9.75", or 11.83m.
 
For the Rams:
Luis Alvarado will compete for Angelo State in three events, the discus throw, hammer throw, and javelin. Alvarado is currently ranked 15th in the conference in the hammer throw with a distance of 146', or 45.71m, and fifth in the javelin with a throw of 177'-11", or 54.22m.

Decio Andrade will compete in two events for ASU in the discus and hammer throw for the Rams. Andrade is currently leading the conference and the nation in the hammer with a distance thrown of 226'-9", or 69.11m, and is ranked ninth in the conference in the discus with a throw of 154'-9", or 47.16m.

Cannon Andrews will join teammate Andrade in the hammer and discus throw, as Andrews is currently ranked second in the conference and 17th in the nation in the hammer throw with a distance of 194'-3", or 59.20m, and is ranked tied for 15th in the conference in the discus with a throw of 142'-4", or 43.38m.

Nathan Blackwell will compete in three events for ASU, the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 400m dash. Blackwell is currently ranked 13th in the 100m with a time of 10.65 and tied for sixth in the 200m with a time of 21.66.

Evan Blaire will compete in the shot put and discus throw for the Rams and is currently ranked 12th in the conference in the shot put with a distance thrown of 50'-11", or 15.52m, and is 12th in the conference in the discus with a throw of 149'-6", or 45.58m.

Seth Blanco will compete for the Blue and Gold in the 10,000m run.

Josh Body will compete for ASU in the triple and high jumps, where he is currently ranked 12th in the conference in the high jump with a height jumped of 6'-4.25", or 1.94m, and is ranked fifth in the conference in the triple jump with a distance of 47'-6.25", or 14.48m.

Cason Brown will join teammates Andrade and Andrews in the discus and hammer throws, as he is currently ranked second in the conference and eighth in the nation in the discus throw with a distance of 176'-10", or 53.91m, while he is ranked 13th in the conference in the hammer throw with a distance of 161'-1", or 49.10m.

William Calvert will compete in the 400m hurdles for the Rams, as he is currently leading the conference with a time of 53.41.

Ryan Cox will compete for Angelo State in the javelin, as he is ranked 16th in the conference with a throw of 154'-3", or 47.03m.

Cameron Cross will compete for the Blue and Gold in the shot put and hammer throw, where he is currently leading the conference and is ranked 20th in the nation in the shot put with a distance thrown of 55'-9.25", or 17m, and is ranked sixth in the conference in the hammer throw with a distance thrown of 177'-9", or 55.60m.

Ruben Davila will compete in the 800m run for the Rams.

Devoux Deysel will compete for ASU in the javelin throw where he currently leads the conference and is ranked second in the nation with a throw of 242'-2", or 73.82m.

Nicholas Ellisor will compete for Angelo State in the 400m dash, where he is currently leading the conference and is ranked fourth in Division II with a time of 47.06.

Calen Fouts will compete in the pole vault for the Rams.

Creed Goode will compete in four events for Angelo State, the 110m hurdles, high jump, long jump, and discus throw. Goode is currently ranked tied for 13th in the high jump with a height jumped of 6'-3.5", or 1.92m and ninth in the conference in the long jump with a distance jumped of 23'-1.75", or 7.05m.

Brad Humphreys will be competing in the 400m hurdles alongside teammate Calvert, where Humphreys is ranked 17th in the conference with a time of 57.73.

Braden Jetton will compete in the 200m dash for the Rams as he is currently ranked tied for sixth with teammate Blackwell with a time of 21.66.

Trivett and Jacobee Jones will compete for Angelo State in the pole vault. Trivett Jones currently leads the conference and is ranked fourth in Division II with a height vaulted of 17'-1", or 5.21m, while Jacobee Jones is currently ranked fourth in the conference with a height vaulted of 15'-7", or 4.75m.

Elvis Kryukov will compete in four events for Angelo State, the 110 hurdles, high and long jumps, and the shot put. Kryukov currently ranks 12th in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.01, 11th in the high jump with a height jumped of 6'-4.75", or 1.95m, eighth in the long jump with a distance jumped of 23'-2", or 7.06m, and 13th in the shot put with a distance thrown of 47'-8.5", or 14.54m.

Corey Landin will compete in the 3,000m steeplechase for the Rams, where he ranks 10th in the conference with a time of 10:41.60.

Kyle Lumpkins will compete in three events for the Rams, the 110m and 400m hurdles and the pole vault. Lumpkins is currently ranked sixth in the conference in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.54, sixth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.44, and tied for 1th in the pole vault with a height of 14'-1.45", or 4.30m.

David Morgan will compete in the 100m dash for Angelo State, where he currently ranks fourth in the conference and 13th in Division II with a time of 10.52.

Diego Pettorossi will compete alongside teammate Jetton in the 200m dash, where he currently ranks ninth in the conference with a time of 21.83.

Ryan Pickett will compete for ASU in the shot put and the javelin, where Pickett is ranked ninth in the conference in the shot put with a throw of 52'-1", or 15.87m, and is ranked third in the javelin with a throw of 183'-8", or 55.99m.

Ja'Micah Polk will join fellow teammate Morgan in the 100m dash as he is currently ranked tied for fifth in the conference tied for 14th in the nation with a time of 10.53.

Jakob Porter will compete in three events for Angelo State, the 110m hurdles, pole vault, and discus throw.

Jonathan Ramirez will compete in the 400m dash for the Rams alongside fellow teammate Ellisor.

Trevor Reid will compete in the 100m and 200m dash for the Rams, where he is ranked 19th in the conference in the 100m with a time of 10.76 and 19th in the 200m with a time of 22.13.

Michael Rodriguez will compete in four events for the Blue and Gold, the 400m hurdles, high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Rodriguez currently ranks fourth in the conference in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.31, tied for ninth in the high jump with a height jumped of 6'-5", or 1.96m, and fourth in the triple jump with a height of 47'-10.5", or 14.59m.

Kevin Roman will compete for the Rams in the 400m dash alongside teammates Ellisor and Ramirez. Roman is currently ranked 16th in the conference with a time of 50.20.

Axcel Santana will compete for Angelo State in the triple jump, and is currently ranked third in the conference with a distance jumped of 47'-11", or 14.60m.

Ryan Scalet will compete in two events for Angelo State, the 110m and 400m hurdles alongside fellow teammate Lumpkins. Scalet currently ranks tied for 10th in the conference in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.90, and is second behind teammate
Calvert in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.25.

Trpimir Siroki will compete in three events for the Blue and Gold, the pole vault and the long and triple jumps. Siroki is currently ranked sixth in the conference in the pole vault with a height vaulted of 15'-5", or 4.70m, and second in the long jump with a distance jumped of 24'-9.75', or 7.56m.

Emmett Seals will compete in the 200m and 400m dash for the Rams, where Seals is ranked 18th in the conference in the 400m dash with a time of 50.29.

Cade Swinburn will compete in three events for the Rams, the shot put, discus throw, and the javelin. Swinburn is currently ranked 14th in the conference in the javelin with a throw of 158'-3", or 48.23m.

Gianluca Tamberi will compete in the javelin alongside teammate Deysel for the Rams, where he is currently ranked second in the conference and seventh in the nation with a throw of 221'-1", or 67.40m.
